• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Is FSDeveloper working fine for you all?

Hi all,

A few weeks ago we moved to another hosting company as the previous host made some changes that caused our forum to break down and were not able to fix it soon.

I just want to check how the site is working for you all since the move. The fact that I haven't seen a lot of complaints or issues posts sounds good. But I want to check anyway.

My personal experience is that the site works well in general. It seems there are less issues with the site responding slow, as we sometimes had before.

Working great from my side.
The page loads quickly and I haven't noticed any problems so far.
Everything perfect so far for me! 👍

There is a cross at the top right to dismiss the notification. And if you are logged in it will remember you dismissed it, so it won't show again.

The notification has helped a lot to guide new users to the right place to post their MSFS related questions.

I can confirm that. Before the change, there was a slight delay in opening individual pages. Now, after the change, the forum is running much better overall. The previous delays no longer exist. So here with me everything is going very well :)

It is working fine however I have noticed the past week on several occasions I would try to visit here and the site wouldn't load and it gave an error message like a 401 http error or something like that. Checked back a few hours later and it was loading fine. Don't know what the issue with that was. Hasn't happened now in a couple of days

No issues to report, Arno, runs at least as well as it did for me before the switchover became necessary.

In Moxilla FireFox web browser with uBlock Origin extension loaded, I have not seen anything 'unwanted' for years ...whether logged in or not. ;)

When I do see anything 'unwanted', uBlock Origin easily creates a "exclude" rule to 'eliminate' that object from being rendered by FireFox within a webpage on my monitor.

Only thing to report is that when accessing the site, it regularly now comes up with a "This site can't be reached" error page, with the code "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN". Wait a few seconds, and then it suddenly refreshes and brings up the forum page.

Issue does not appear to be cache related, although initial loadings guarantee the above, and then it reappears, on a somewhat ad-hoc basis, subsequently.

*As a further update, sometimes the response is a "This site cannot be found" page with "ERR_FAILED" as the code. Once more, it reloads automatically after a second or so.
