Hi,
I found something that might useful when you do glass jetway. I have made glass jetway and the interior inside by cloning the outside and flip the polygons. It looks just fine in static one.
Then I did an animated jetway and I found that there was a problem of jetway glass transparency. If I use transparent material (default transparent, z-test alpha, z-write), I cannot see the opposite interior glass wall. No mater I tried, changing material, changing the name of the texture to make it draw last.....etc, nothing changed.
So, I set back and relaxed a bit and tried to figure out how to test what cause that.
I make a new model, called "test jetway" by making each box of glass jetway. I use the same material for each box and the whole thing comes out just fine.

The only different between static jetway and animated jetway is: the animated one has to combine every objects as one and apply skin to it.
So I try to attach all the boxes that I use for "test jetway". Then it comes out like this:

I cannot see the interior at all, either the glass wall or the floor!
So, I think attaching the objects together can cause problem with the transparency drawing order of glass material. Life would be easier if you leave each objects in the scene separately.
OK, now I know what cause that.
But I don't know how to solve.
Do you have any ideas how to solve that?
Regards,
Tic
