Hi all,

would like to show you what I've done at the Weekend.
I learned a lot. Starting modeling with Blender, texturing, bring the model in FSX etc. But this was only possible, because of all your great help. My special thanks to Krispy1001 for the Blender Video-Tutorials, Capt_x for the Blender2FSX Toolset and Dutcheeseblend for the inspiration with the Fokker and the help and of course Arno for the forum and his great Tools.
You guys are great - many thanks!

The biggest Problem is now to keep the motivation high to finish the Project.
Still so much to learn and to do.

Hi Steffsim, nice to hear!

For me personally the motivation to keep going, was my pride: I had published WIPs and I didn't want to quit the process while everybody could see it.

Nice model! Just keep going, you'll find yourself learning all the time ;)

Hi Steffsim!

Your first plane looks great! Way better than my first plane that I made.

I am happy too hear that the video's have helped you.

The biggest Thanks goes to Capt_X that made such an awesome tool for all of use Blender artists to use.

Thanks, Krispy1001:)

Learning, learning...

Puh there is really so much to learn and so much things I still have no idea how it works.
It takes so much time to try, doing something wrong, try again and so on.
Next I will try how it works with the VC and the gauges.
I suppose I need your help soon...
Thanks in advance.

Thank´s Dutcheeseblend and Krispy1001!

Have now succeeded to run 4 3d gauges, did more animations and tested texturing with bump textures. It´s still fun.

Happy New Year to all FS Fans!

Still trying to understand programming XML gauges ;-). Nevertheless 2 more gauges are ready, the radio ATR720 and the compass.

Hi Steff, your Klemm is looking great. And I am with you, I am fighting with XML gauge programming for my Soloy U206G project too. But there is nothing, that could not be solved.

Thomas

Hi all,

wish you all a happy new year!

Barely 4 years later, I'll get back to you;)
Sorry, but I had a lot of problems with Blender and the SDK, which I just could not solve. At some point I lost motivation then. With the new P3D v4, the joy of the flight simulator got me back and I got the old project and the problems under control. The "EDEX" is now 90% ready, and I tried that everything works like the real EDEX.
Can not say yet when the publication is, but I've considered releasing the Klemm as "quizware".

Here are two pictures of the current state.

All the best, Steffsim

Hi here is a little update.
Unfortunately, the original engine did not start for 3 months, so I could not record the Walter Minor 6-III sound. Now I've made it and can now start at home in P3D the engine and hear the beautiful six-cylinder.

Unfortunately, the aircraft does not behave like the original in some aspects, I hope I can solve these problems at some point.
