Hi all,
For my Fokker, I'm working on some engine start exhaust fire. That works perfectly, I'm getting some nice flames now. I have one .fx with both a few smoke emitters and a few fire emitters. I also included a fire light emitter, since I expect the fuselage to be illuminated in some sense by the flame. So I converted one of my fire emitters to a light effect (setting Light=1, and but not needed Type=25), which performs fine at daytime: my fuselage is illuminated.
But: not at night... ??? This is rather strange, uh? I tried to find a clue in the standard fx_navgre file, but no sir, I don't get figured out how my wings get illuminated at night by the green navlight.
How is this done? Is this hard-coded? If so, why could my own fire illuminate at day and not at night?
Thanks in advance! Cheers
