• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Well back again after a long absence .
So the latest ADE l could find was v.01.79.7475 . Propblem is that the FSX box , was corrupted so l installed FSX SE .

Now starting a new project l tried to see how things are .
Made a new project , added a "Flatten exclude autogen" and a runway and t he look OK , BUT problems started
"Move aircraft here" doesn't work
Click+click on the polygon to add Vertex doesn't work

l wonder what l'll find later on

But project is compiled .....

Am l missing something

You need FSUIPC installed to move your aircraft.

You need to use Ctrl-click to add a vertex, and only when the tooltip says you can.

Thank you @tgibson .
Seems that when you let things for a few years , when you come back , certain details do not tick .
Of course l have Fsuip installed but l was under the impression that l could see the aircraft move in ADE not in FSX which it actually does .
All is well .Thanks again .
One thing though .
l don't know if you are familiar with FSX-SE but l have an annoying issue when l run it .
FSX.jpg

People seay that most probably some FSX files were left in the system when uninstalled FSX Box and installed FSX SE .
The program works fine , but it would be better if l can get rid of it.
Any ideas

Thanks

I have the same thing. Only started about 12 months ago (wild guess). I assume they've let the certificate expire and have no interest in renewing it.

The certificate that certifies your website has paid MS the fee that prevents your security certificate from expiring..in case you might not trust the company that purchased Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The 'Home' dialogue box is a browser, in which Microsoft, and later Steam, used to present news about the simulator. The last content was when Steam instigated a Beta feature in FSX:SE frim which MS could derive data that informed MSFS (FS20) development. That ceased being of any use to anyone a couple of years ago, so Steam gave up paying for the security certificate for the website that the browser is trying to access - there's not likely ever again to be news about FSX! It has absolutely nothing to do with your previous installation of FSX.
