• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello,
I'm looking for somebody who can help me with the groundpoly of my airport.

Thank you :)

To help people know whether they would like to help it would be nice to know:
  • What airport it is
  • If they will be paid
  • If the project is commercial or freeware
:)

Thank you for the help Shaun:)

Airport:
EDDT and EDDL (later)

Paid: Yes!

And it is a commercial product for a new brand.

Thank you in advance :)

Well the airport's due to close in a few years. And there's already an aerosoft version. Plus people might want to know what you're bringing to the table if they were interested.

EDDL will stay open the next 30-50years so I think this should be a good one. But yeah EDDT will close the next 2 years so I will set my focus to EDDL :)

Cause I'm a new developer I would pay 50+ Euros. I can do asphalt and sth like that but I need a person who can make me the dirt for the taxiways, runways and so one. And the markings.

Thank you in advance :)

If your goal is a commercial quality scenery, and you want someone to do the job properly, I'd recommend taking a look into what this entails.

I'd say EDDL would take me about 2+ weeks, 80+ hours, more if I was to use the aerial imagery as a noise layer. I'd probably want about 500, if I was interested.

Do you have licensed imagery to use?

As you see, it's cheaper and quicker for you to learn and do it yourself. And then you'd see what it requires. It's very time consuming.
