• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I've started working on KTRI Tri-Cities Regional Airport in Northeast Tennessee. I've already changed the taxiway/airport layout to match that of the real thing. It will be a photoscenery background with all modeled buildings.

I work here so I can provide endless documentation and photos, I mainly am looking for someone to model the terminal, and maybe some custom runway/taxiway textures with gmax (doesn't have to be too fancy).

It isn't a very large project and I'm modelling all the hangars etc. so it would be a split freeware project with half credit given to each person. Feel free to reply here or PM me.

These photos are just an idea of what's going on already, the photscenery is just there as a temp background hasn't been edited yet.

There have been many expansions and updates since any available photos on the internet, that's where my photos I take will come in.

Thanks for your response. To answer your question this background image is from Google which obviously wouldn't be distributable, but my plan was to use tiles from NGS with editing for night and season textures. This background was just used to make some initial models and have something to use as an example.

Followed your links to your work and looks like you'd have no problem modelling things, do you have any experience with GMAX texturing, as I am not too familiar with it. My original plan was just to use ADE but if someone more experienced helord, custom ground textures would be even better.

I am familiar with Gmax texturing and ground poly work so that won't be a problem. If you are interested in working together could you leave a PM with some more details?
