• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi all.

Working with Luis Sa, I've been able to compile an x86 version of the updated SBuilderX 314. However, I have a Windows 7 x64 system. I'm looking for someone with a WindowsXP ( sp3 ) x86 system, and a bit of experience with SBuilderX, to test this compilation.

Hi,

I am not an expert of SBuilderX but if you need someone to made basic tests, I can to this.

SBuilerX is a very good tool and I wanted to know if you think it is possble to add option to "append" osm or pbf file.

Thank you for your job, we waiting for update since few years...

Hi motuslechat.

The testing is over for the x86 version. I will post a link to the x86 version after Luis returns from his sea adventure... possibly in 2 months time. It is his code, and I don't wnat to release anything until he reviews what I have done with it.

This 314 version has the same basic functions as 313. It was initiated to work better with newer versions of Windows, and to use the x64 memory advantages. I developed the x86 version only to keep compatibility for users having WindowsXP or a 32-bit system, as the .NET 4.5.1 excludes WindowsXP users.

I'll make a new thread here in the future when the SBuilderX314 x86 version is released.

There is no osm or pbf functionality. There are other GIS sources that can convert those formats to shp files, which can be imported. This isn't to say Luis may add this in the future... just not for 314.
