• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

Hi Arno,
i don't know since which build i get this error, but before i didnt get this error:i am unable to show the spotlights shadow cone on the displayed green ground. before i was able, and it was very handy.
second problem, when i try to show particle effects i get this error (sorry it is in italian):

I have seen this error a few times, but I haven't been able to reproduce it yet. Does it happen with any model for you? Did you change your graphics driver recently?
 
Looks like "show effects" works for some planes, not for some others.
Shadow cone of spotlights on ground doesnt work for no planes.
Yes i updated to latest nvidia.
 
If you have an object that always shows this problem I can try to reproduce it here.

Since it is related to the preview it might be OpenGL related, but the NVidia drivers typically offer good OpenGL support.
