Does MCX change the GUIDs when loading say a SCA file, or does it keep the original one? Trying to make a new BGL files that have the same GUIDs as the original, but broken up into separate library files readable by EZ Scenery. Object is to keep the same ones so that I don't have to individually replace each item. Would like to be able move some of objects around to their proper location.

If there is a guid present MCX will keep it. But not all sca files have a guid. If none is present, MCX will assign a new one.

I guess if I run up MCX 2 or 3 times and the GUIDs are always different, that means there aren't any.

You can assign the proper guid in the object information, if you know it.

Correct, then it seems the file you are loading has no GUID and MCX assigns a random one each time.
