• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Multi-Player Mission

Hello,
I run a very small virtual ATC group called Pacific Northwest Virtual ATC. I have been experimenting with the mission editor in hopes of creating a mission based test, used to pre-screen applicants/pilots instead of a traditional web based test. Will the pilot have to download, install the mission and fly it in free flight or could this be made into a multi-player session. My question is, could each pilot that joined the session be put through the test start to finish as they joined or is it like a race type of scenario where all would have to join before running the session? It would be neat for pilots to be able to go through a series of ratings tests, earning different rewards along the way up the ladder.

So thinking through this also spwaned another idea. I realized quickly that the mission brief is a .htm file. So I thought, instead of having pilots join our membership, file flight plan and print session charts on our website, I could just include links to my web pages in the mission brief, thus saving a ton of time and anxiety for our pilots. My question here is basically the same as above, would the session have to be a race type of scenario, with pilot slots where all would have to join before running the session or could it be just like a normal multi-player session join at will? Is there a way to use the FSXATC functions in a scenario like this?

I appreciate any input on this and thank you in advance.
