• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MV-22B Osprey (Release 1.0)

Hi Letorun,
I love your repaints, I tried to do this on the Avsim model. I am not very good. Yours look great. Do you take requests? How about these two?

Thanks for thinking about it.

Hi Brad and thanks,

I thought about adding the HMX-1 livery to the first package but decided to wait. I might do it after all the ones i'm already working on. Are you sure there is a "white top" version of the Osprey? I never saw a picture of it except the one you posted and its really small. You have a bigger resolution of that picture? From what i know there is only twelve Green tops. That article say the same.

Hi Lerourn,
that is a cool video. I have not seem one with the v22 working a stiff crosswind. Those guys are skilled. I will be patient for your next artwork.

Hi PSA, I can't wait to see you work too. Are you thinking of doing a fictional US Coast Guard?
Thanks for your guys work. I started trying some repaints, man, my respect for you guys contributing to our fun, went way up. That is a lot of work. Thanks again.
Brad

Has anyone found a solution for the CTD yet? Got a bud who crashes about 1 minute after loading in. On Windows 7 FSX:SE

Hello everyone
Since I installed the software tacpack, my MV22 does not take off vertically despite the rotors in good position ...
Have you heard anything about it?

Best regard

This is in P3D I assume ???
If so: Disable (NOT: uninstall ! ) Tacpac before using this addon; so tacpac doesn't run in the background).

Rob

I had no issues with it in FSX or P3D. I am running Tacpack on both. The only issue I had was the CTD in P3D when I used my HOTAS button to change views. (After I had read not to do that!)

To explain:

The "No VSTOL control" problem MAY occur when Tacpack is active; Tacpack then somehow interferes with the interface modules I use (IPC dll + FSUIPC) to command SimConnect from my VSTOL XML gauge.
The same problem sometimes happens with other addons that use my simular "VSTOL" solution, like in the Bounty sailing ship.

- On FSX-Accel and FSX-Steam: never a problem.
- On P3D: only occasionally, and then even only on some user PC's (most P3D users have no problem). No explanation why ...

IF someone with P3D and Tacpack has this problem, disabling TacPack (so TacPack isn't automatically loaded when P3D starts, to be set in TacPack itself) appears to be the remedy (for the 4 users I know of).
I hope user FREDDO will confirm this works for him too.

I don't have a clue why this sometimes happens, and I don't think I ever will, because I have to bring some parties together to solve this (Tacpack, IPCmodule, FSUIPC, and ???) while I can't even reproduce it myself.
So trying to debug this, especially since most P3D/Tacpack users have NO problem, is virtually impossible.

But, as said, the remedy is simple and maybe I have a solution in the future.

I have uninstalled this beautiful MV-22 .... hoping to find a solution. Yet I find it superb!

There are No White Top MV-22's and no plan's to make any. White Tops are for the transportation of the President, which the Osprey will never do. The Osprey is a Presidential Support Aircraft in the same way that the Frog's were before it. The Only White tops currently are the Old worn out old SeaKings, and the Blackhawks. The Deakings are scehdules to be replaced by Sikorsky S-92's after the EH-101 replacement was canceled by Barack Obama.

P.S. Is the Osprey still being worked on? Just hoping that the View change bug in P3d will be resolved, and maybe the Shadowed surfaces will be fixed as well. I believe that last part has to do with a render setting before the model is compiled in the 3d software.

it still working on it, I working on VC model, make more detail and learning how to be a good texturing. can't do update result when I still learning it.
can you make more detail for "shadow surface"?
