• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MV-22B Osprey (Release 1.0)

I have a skin for the Alphasim v22, but I was hoping Letourn or someone could make this paint for Maryadi's V22.
That's cool, hopefully someone will create it for Maryadi's V22 in the future. I afraid I don't have any information about what the interior is configured after it is delivered to the HMX fleet. I was a Flight Test crew chief for Boeing. I understand that they are support aircraft so the interior is probably not altered.

Hey guys, youre somewhat in luck haha, I just made an HMX-1 "greenside" Livery and put it together as part of a larger package with Letourns work on simviation. It is my first livery ive ever made with an aircraft, and somewhat amateur, But I believe it will suffice with most of you ;). Let me know what you think of the paint choice (if i put too much brown or green in, stuff like that)

@Maryadi

Was wondering if you had any updates regarding the Prepar3d V4 version. As always, outstanding work.

thank you

Not sure if/which Osprey version you already tested with P3Dv4, but I just received a new Rel2-beta from Maryadi to test in FSX-Accel (which has the same content as for P3Dv4).
Many updates ...!!

Cheers, Rob

Anyone try to install the New Japan Ground Self Defense Force V-22 Texture Repaint v1.0 from simviation.com yet. I try to install but its not working, just get the CV22 texture when I open the sim.

Try clicking on a completely different aircraft, load it in the menu (where the aircraft is spinning), then switch directly back to the JGSDF texture. Let me know if that works.

Thanks Hearter, That worked, Can't believe it was that simple and I didn't even think to try that. I feel really stupid

Nah dont feel stupid, it happened to me too and I thought my textures were corrupted because it was replacing all of my mv-22 textures lol

My plan is before xmas, now the package is being last check by Rob, after it good next port is send to Beta tester, after that it ready as Rel2.
Really excited. I enjoy v4 for simming; way smoother and I can up the scenery eye candy as my graphics card can’t handle it. Plus v3 is giving the “child window” errors so very frustrating.

As a general question, installing the original v1 Osprey won’t work in prepar3d v4 will it? Haven’t tried it, just curious.

The teams hard work is greatly appreciated; absolutely love this aircraft. Thank you all very much

Rel1 doesn't support P3D v4.

I still working on Rel.2, one thing remain need to be solve, saving-load capability in FSX have issue.

Hi Maryadi,
if this "save/load issue in FSX" is the only thing left holding you back from a public beta, I wouldn't worry about that.
This initialisation problem isn't a show-stopper IMO , since the remedy is very simple. A user in FSX just needs to be aware that it might happen.

If someone is curious what this is about:
During aircraft/flight load, some saved states have to be initialised, also requiring some events (FS commands) to be given.
However, the way FSX (and maybe P3D, but less apperant) startsup and initialises things is rather time-critical so it behaves differently from Pc to Pc.
Quite complex to make it 100% reliable ... I know myself, cause I'm dealing with simular problems over a decade now with many of my control gauges in other applications.

Best regards, Rob

I pack it for you and I give it to you via PM
HI Marc, I am not sure I ever got back to you. Thanks so much! The missions were great. The ring state was kicking my butt though. I would be so close to finishing and then come in to fast and low, and roll right over. Bummer. Then I was I could turn the ring state off, and did much better. Now I have it turned on again and have a better feel for it. Thanks. This is fun.

I happy to Hear from you :) Unfortunately, I don't know how to create missions from scratch; so I could have made something "fully adapted" :)
