Thank you Maryadi , I had that already and I combined the 4 Lvars in one switch ... I use Linda to find the Lvars but it is a long process , I now have most of the ones I want , I understand your comment about Lvar dll interaction , also I apreciate your effort to create an aircraft with this quality and accuracy as a freeware AC... I am very grateful. I agree with you on the autopilot , I am a Hovercontrol Helicopter certified pilot , so you can see that the main thing to me is realism , I think the MV22B has it !!!

Thank you

Maryadi , I changed the panel.cfg section as per the manual removing the // from the gauge to get the lvar NacellesFollowSpoiler to 1 but does not change the Lvar , if I change the lvar with a switch the nacelles follow the axis I assigned to spoilers..

It simply means that the gauge isnt loaded (setting the Lvar is the only thing it does).
Recheck your panel.cfg and recheck if that panel.cfg is actually used.
You are editting the file panel.cfg, right ??? Not the _32 or _64 default .cfg files)
Rob

PS: also check:
when the gauge is loaded, it writes the Lvar to 1 once per second.
Not sure how your Lvar setting code works, but make sure it doesn't set this Lvar back to 0 if you do nothing.

May be I was not clear , I set the LVAR NacellesFollowSpoiler to 1 using Spad.next , this sets it and remains set for the rest of the time until I close P3D. The spare axis I have in my throttle is set to Spoiler Axis , ALL works well , the nacelles go 0 to 97 with no problem.

And yes , I am setting it on the right panel.cfg , otherwise the AC would not work in P3D V4.3...

pixel_size=256, 256

gauge00=Mar_MV22B_64!mar_system, 0,0
gauge01=Mar_MV22B_64!mar_pfd, 0, 0, 256, 256, 1
gauge02=rcb-gauges!VSTOLControlIPC_Function, 0,0
gauge03=rcb-gauges!VSTOL_Jitter, 0,0
gauge04=AVM64!Maryadi_lv2av, 0, 0
gauge05=rcb-gauges!V22RotorWashEffectControl, 0,0
gauge06=rcb-gauges!NacellesFollowSpoiler, 0,0 // Remove "//" to command the nacelles with SpoilerAxis control
gauge07=../sound/dsd_p3d_xml_sound_x64!Sound, 0,0

Don't understand the need to set it once a second , once set it stays set unless somethings resets it....,that is my case anyway.

I found the problem , may be the way the gauge is coded , I used the AC in FSX A (with the correct 32bit panel.cfg) and the lvar is set to 1 OK...

I will test further ...

Well... RED Faced!!! , I had two installations of the MV22 in P3D , one inside the Sim Root folder and the other ouside ,... as it goes I was changing the panel.cfg on the outside install and running the inside one ,... sorry for my confusion.. now all is good.

Which proves that the MV22 can be installed outside the root P3D with the xml method...

I just placed the Osprey in both v3 and v4 of P3D. Have issues in both. No turning blades and panels are not working. In the zip file there is no panel_64.cfg & panel_32.cfg as described in the manual. There is a panel_32.cfg and a panel.cfg. Moving to the MS C++ redistributable... The ones I have are in the screenshot. The 2015 (x64) is not there. The installation of the downloaded 2015 fails. I think it is because the newer one is already there.

I looked in the panel.cfg's. I wish the author had clearly made a comment in there to tell which is which. I haven't analyzed them side by side. By given that neither works in neither sim, the problem is not with the wrong format cfg being in there. I would really like to get the working in v4.

Thanks for any help

obviously, the dll gauge isn't running.
1. the package are preset for P3D v4, so panel.cfg is for 64bit. it mean no change need to be made if you use Osprey for P3D v4.+
for P3D v3.+ you need to swap the panel.cfg as describe in manual.

2. for redistributable it mandatory to make an update for latest update. to install update it need to uninstall previous version. my version is 14.0.24215
I have both x86 and x64 redistributable installation, I see you have only x86 for redistributable 2015. check your windows system or find out on microsoft site for best suit of redistributable in certain system

Do you think the installation of the x64 failed because the Windows 2015 x32 was present or the Windows 2017 ones were present? In other words, should I unistinall the 2015, the 2017 or both before trying to install the most recent 2015 package?

no, you can install both, it just a library which is needed by dll gauge.
it depend on you system, for easier you can install both x86 and x64. and it need: microsoft visual studio C++ 2015 redistributable, not 2017.
if you already have 2015 installed, then you need to uninstall it prior to install latest version of VS C++ 2015 redistributable update.

I was unable to uninstall the 2015 (x86) until I restarted in safe mode. In safe mode I was unable to install the either the x86 or x64 microsoft visual studio C++ 2015. I was not able to uninstall either of the x86 or the x64 microsoft visual studio C++ 2017. I have only had to deal with these microsoft visual studio C++ files once before . That was years ago. That did not go well either.

@karlh There is actually something else you could do. Enable Content Error logging in your P3D v4 and post the log output.

Hello ... First of all I want to thank you for the excellent work with v22. It's a fantastic aircraft, thank you. I often fly to oil platforms frequently and have not found the ADF option on the V22 panel. How do I locate an NDB and fly to it?

It's not implemented.
And I doubt the real MV22 has such an option either, with today's modern GPS navigation systems.

That said (and if you really need such an option in flying in FS):
You can easily add a 2D-window to the panel, using a ADF/NDB gauge and radio gauge from a default aircraft (like from the default Cessna172 panel, in FSX)

Out of curiosity, would any one want a fictional (futuristic? considering it is replacing the C-2A C.O.D. role) paint of the CMV-22 Osprey? Im considering doing one or two of em...
