• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MV-22B Osprey

No. it fixed. except you want to change it from texture file.
how it going, did you test dll gauge for p3D v4?

preparing 417 animation and code variable in modeldef.xml for VC finished. next work list is re-tagging and re-animate all stuff in VC

Kalong, I tried adding the spoiler gauge to panel and couldn't make it work. Question, am I supposed to use gauge05 (replace contents with spoiler gauge), or can I add it at the end as "gauge10".

Thanks,
David

what for spoiler gauge? it have been disable and use as proxy for multiplayer purpose.

or
you want to try slowing down when descent? I'm working on it

oh no, on the read me file it talks about enabling the spoiler axis on the controller for nacelle control. Descent works fine. Descent seems realistic.

ah... if you use spoiler for nacelles control that would need to enable it. spoiler drag effect are disable.

see this on panel.cfg?
//gauge05=rcb-gauges!NacellesFollowSpoiler, 0,0 // Remove "//" to command the nacelles with SpoilerAxis control

that make spoiler work for nacelles

no my gauge05 under VCockpit01 has other content in it, so I added gauge11=rcb-gauges!NacellesFollowSpoiler, 0,0 (gauge11 being the next one available)

About the SPoiler gauge problem:
Is this about "Rel1 on FSX/P3D3.*, "Rel 1 on FSX/P3DV4" , or "Pre-rel2" ??

This thread is getting a bit confusing; may be good to start a new thread for rel2.

@pinkjr: If this still is about Rel1:
If you don't have a line
//gauge05=rcb-gauges!NacellesFollowSpoiler, 0,0 // Remove "//" to command the nacelles with SpoilerAxis control
in the VCockpit00 section of the the panel.cfg : where does this panel.cfg come from ????

And maybe too obvious:
The line should read then:
gauge05=rcb-gauges!NacellesFollowSpoiler, 0,0 // Remove "//" to command the nacelles with SpoilerAxis control
So DON'T remove the // in front of "Remove".
("//" is the comment sign in the panel.cfg)

yes, that true, if you only have Rel1.0
me and Rob has been many discussion about Rel2.0, maybe that make him confused.

is explain from Rob, make your spoiler control nacelles work?

If it still doesn't work, please post your panel.cfg

Hi David,

This panel.cfg looks Ok to me, but I'm a bit puzzled now.
Because in post #371 you replied this :
""
no my gauge05 under VCockpit01 has other content in it, so I added gauge11=rcb-gauges!NacellesFollowSpoiler, 0,0 (gauge11 being the next one available)
""

So what is it ??

I did a fresh download of version 1.0. I later remembered that Kalong gave me a pre-release copy for beta testing, which had some minor differences on the panel.cfg file. I went ahead and got rid of that and just did a fresh install, hoping for the gauge to work.

Hi David,

Ok, clear then about the panel.cfg ;)

To diagnose your problem:
Run the V22, and open the (blue) 2D-Window TEST via the menu.
Now, toggle the spoiler on/off several times via the key you assigned to SpoilerToggle (default key: / )
Question: does the value of "AITRIM" change when you give a spoiler toggle command ??

If so: it means something is wrong with the axis assignment of the SpoilerAxis.
Also, not only check the Assignment of the SpoilerAxis, but also the Sensitivity (should be Max, and null zone 0 or very small).

If no change: some other suggestions.
The first one being: is the panel.cfg that you changed (ie. enabled the gauge05 in), actually used when you load the V22 ??
Wouldn't be the first time that someone changed the backup of a .cfg file, instead of the one loaded by FS ...LoL
This could also happen when you make a backup (= copy) of the whole aircraft-foldertree into the \Airplanes\ folder itself.
Which means that there are now two aircraft.cfg's with the same "Title= ****" definitions in it. Which makes FS just pick the first one (and everything else in that folder tree) it finds when it loads an existing flight.
NOTE: all the "Title= ****" lines should be unique over ALL aircraft.cfg files in ALL aircraft folder trees in ....\Objects\Airplanes\ !!

Rob

will try sir. I think I tried using "/" already.

Problem solved....working perfectly.

Thanks guys!
