Hello :-)

I want to add a photorealistic Layout with SbuilderX to a airport scenery. My problem is that the coordinates of the photoscenery don´t fit to airport. The runway in the fotoscenery is beside the airport scenery and some other things as well.

Is there a way to give the photoscenery a new position (new coordinates)?

Thank you,
Holger

Hello Holger,
usually the airport has the wrong coordinates, not the background. So you will probably have to edit the airport itself.

Hi,

I would first double check if the photo scenery is placed correctly, but as said most often the airport is wrong. So once you are sure the photo is right, you better update the airport to match the photo.

Thanks for your reply!

You are right of course that the airport has the wrong coordinates. But my basic thought was that it could be much easier to give the photo.bgl new coordinates than to give all bgl´s of the airport new positions.

I was hoping that there is way to replace the photo.bgl in a way like instant scenery can do it. Also I tried to open the photo.bgl with modelconverterX in intention to add new coordinates with the wizzard but it can´t open it.

Thanks,
Holger

Hi,

You would have to compile the photo bgl again with resample to move it. But that assumes you have the source files. Then you could give them an offset. But I would not do that, since you are making your scenery less accurate.
