Hello.
I just upgraded to Prepar3D v4. I tried to install one of the sceneries that has a installer for V3. I set up a fake P3DV3 install path refferring to V4 folders, using regedit and symlinks. When I clicked install, the installer copied all the files, but then threw an error that said "Error:failed to read texture count from terrain.cfg" Upon investigating the p3d files, I found out that the installer created backups of terrain.cfg and scenery.cfg, but had not modified the file in any way (I can say that because I generated a checksum for one file, and then compared it to the other backup-ed file. When I manually added the addon via p3d menu, it accepted the new landline, but somehow made water the wrong color. I have included pics of the installer error and a picture of the faulty scenery. What could be causing the water to be the wrong color and how could I fix it?
Link to the addon I am trying to install:
