• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Just noticed that your using fs2002 from the other post so disregard the last one. I'll send version 8.0 in a zip folder here for you.

Thanks a MILLION Dave I looked all over for that this afternoon. :cool: I also did some experimenting with the FS2004 makemdl exe. and it completed the export of my entire aircraft unfortunately I dont have FS2004 yet. It also gave me an error but still exported.Now I have to find out how to get an Airfile.Cfg and Ithink an texture compiler. I think I read that Arno has a tool that does this. Any suggestions?

Your welcome for the file. As far as an aircraft cfg file im not really sure since i have never attempted to create any aircraft. As far as a texture compilier, you could you imagetool or another one that comes to mind is DXTBMP which probably could be found at the AVSIM site. Just make sure that its compatible for fs2002 as i use imagetool which has different version depending on what flight simulator your using.

I do have xbox but never play online. Only games i play online are Flight Simulator and some Novalogic games..Delta Force Extreme

I'll check that out.I havent played many PC games mainly FS2002 wich I've had since 2002 and just recently picked back up.Last couple years been playing X-BOX but since I put my PC together and found out how much you can do with gmax and FS I havent even touched my X-BOX in months.

Checked out the link could'nt find it yesterday that will come in handy if something happens to my current version.
Got my scale and tranparency problems fixed.Had some grouping isues to correct.I just coppied my original parts that I made my parts from.
GROUPING IS DEFFINENTLY UNEACCEPTIABLE IN THE BUILDING OF A MODEL.

I'm going to post a new thread with a jpg of the aircraft now that the problems are fixed.NEXT MORE DETAIL,LINKING,AND ANIMATION. :cool:
