Hello,
I am experiencing a visibility issue on custom scenery objects exported from Blender to MSFS 2024.
Environment
Problem
A small object is correctly displayed when viewed at close range.
However, after moving only a short distance away, the object appearance changes significantly (or disappears depending on the model).
I initially observed this behaviour on a Runway Guard Light (RGL), and I am now seeing the same issue on custom apron light poles.
What I tested
Question
Could this be related to:
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.
I am experiencing a visibility issue on custom scenery objects exported from Blender to MSFS 2024.
Environment
- MSFS 2024
- Blender 4.2 LTS
- Official Asobo Blender exporter
- Rebuilt the model from scratch.
- Verified normals.
- Verified materials.
- Tested with different object dimensions.
- Tested with Blender 3.2 and Blender 4.2 LTS.
- Same behaviour observed.
Question
Could this be related to:
- automatic LOD generation,
- bounding box calculation,
- exporter settings,
- MSFS 2024 rendering optimisation,
- or another known SDK limitation?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.
