• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Not that anyone here is likely to care, but I will be leaving early Friday morning for Wichita, Kansas (Aviation Capital of the World) for the combined 2013 Cockpit Fest and AVSIM FanCon, which takes place this weekend.

I'm not sure which has me more excited, flying on CRJ's or the actual visit to the air museum, cockpit displays or the AVSIM FanCon... :D

Have fun Bill. I have nice memories of the 2007 FanCon.

I'm not going to lie, I'm kinda jealous.

Hope you have fun, what am I saying... hope you have a miserable time you lucky #$&^%... haha J/K.. I really do hope you have a good time!

CockpitFest sounds like fun, we have a similar event in the UK each year at Newark although I've yet to go.

Take photos! :D

Oh, that I will. I went out to Wal-Mart and bought a shiny new 18MP camera.

Hopefully this time I won't forget to get it from the overhead bin when deplaning back here in Chicago!

That's why I don't have any pictures from the 2005 MS/ACES DevCon in Redmond, WA... :yikes:

Although I called the airline, they never "found" my really expensive, brand new digital camera.

Oh, speaking of the new camera, I wanted to install the software here on my dev machine before I put it on my laptop..

The included DVD has now been running for well over 30 minutes with a message "Installing Quick Time". The progress bar shows just over 50% installed...

Maybe they should have named it "Slow Time" or perhaps "Some Time"... :rotfl:
