P3D v4 P3Dv4 - fx_lightObswhiteSteady.fx missing

While installing a dynamic lightning light, I noticed that the fx_lightObswhiteSteady.fx is no longer present.
I only have 4 WhiteFlash lights, but i need a steady light.
I thought I used it a few years ago.
Where can I find it?
Is there an alternative?

That may be a edited default Fx; I will scan my main FS computer later to verify if that exists in my P3Dv4\Effects folder chain.

You could easily edit a copy of the flashing version of that Effect *.Fx file yourself so that it is "steady".

I would use the live in-sim preview by activating visualfxtool.dll in your P3Dv4 DLL.XML file; I'm not sure Arno's FxEditor shows lights on/off.

Hi again:

Just checked: There is no file by that 'exact' name in my MSFS, P3Dv4, or FSX folder chains.

There are, however, Fx files that suggest it is derived from a few 'flashing' versions in my MSFS, P3Dv4, or FSX folder chains:

fx_lightObsWhiteFlash40Hi.fx

fx_lightObsWhiteFlash40Med.fx

fx_lightObsWhiteFlash60Hi.fx

fx_lightObsWhiteFlash60Med.fx


FYI: You can easily search for file / folder names etc. anywhere on your system with "Everything" search utility:

I just stumbled across this info that refreshed my memory on the simplicity of a few basic controls provided for light Fx by MCX Attached Object Editor.

I have this file in different variants. Here's the one from the sims Effects folder. I also have one for an AI ship, in the ships Effects folder. It has differences. Tell me, if you need the other one.

I've searched and searched everywhere, but I can't find anything.
I'm looking for the "fx_LightObsBlueSteady.fx" file for my edge lamps.
