• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

P3D v5 Photosceneries and Autogen Packages for the world

you are killing this thread dude by flooding it with stuff no one understands what you are talking about. Assuming you are talking about realworldscenery or megascenery and you are having problems why don't you email their support team. That's what I would do.

like autogen without the photoscenery? I think Matthias has the link in this thread somewhere. NVM, looks like you actually found the autogen. What more are you after? The houses and trees are all there.

You can find a lot of autogne packages in the linked thread - also Italy Northwest, Northeast and Centre. If you download these packages, you will get texture-folders with thousands of agn-files - these agn-files define the placement of trees and buildings.
Just copy these texture-folders to your photoscenery-folders.
 
I am looking for an Autogen pack for Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco. I noticed with your autogen pack for Egypt that unfortunately instead of palm trees and typical Africa trees there are only green deciduous trees. That doesn't look so good. Can't you replace these with palm trees? That would be great

You're right, I haven't placed many palm trees in desert areas.
The reason for this is that in North Africa the palms were actually only planted in the tourist cities.
Actually, this region is too dry for palm trees. Away from the tourist cities, you will hardly find any palms.
Seen as a whole, the green deciduous trees therefore fit much better into this region than the palms.

I hope this explains somewhat the decision not to plant palm trees in the deserts.

Nevertheless, I will see if it is not possible to place more date palms in North Africa!

I am using ScenProc to create the autogen itself - for creating and preparing the GIS data I am using Python and ArcGIS.
A lot of data is going into the autogen creation process - OSM-data, CORINE, Landsat, COPERNICUS data, Ecoregion data, and quite a lot more...

I hope I understood the question the right way...

I agree @alexforzini, maybe start a private message conversation with Mathias, or make a new thread to ask questions. It’s getting 8mpossible to follow this thread this way... you’re posting many messages, half in Italian, half with screenshots of which their purpose is unclear. Better to make one new thread where you put all your questions and associated screenshots in one big post
 
Good morning everyone!

As you might have noticed, I have marked Spain in the map as "Work in Progress". - That's true!

While there is still a huge amount to do to create the autogen (better as it currently is) I already have 2 pictures for you:

I am already working on Spain since last year, and it will be really good - as soon as it is ready, i am sure, that you will see Spain in the P3D as never before!

And the best: It will be publicly and freely available to everyone!
