• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

This is very important. Since this is a development program each update contains fixes for issues found in earlier alphas. If you don't update then I continue to get log reports for older versions and fixed issues. There for I need to make it clear that unless you are on the latest alpha I am unlikely to be able to offer support. Logs for versions earlier than the current will be discarded.

Also be reminded that as an alpha crashes are likely to be common and you should ensure regular backups of your projects. ADE offers a project backup which is manual but I assume y'all have backup systems in place so that you can save your work in case of crashes not just with ADE but generally on your computer.

Thank you once again for all your help in creating ADE 2020

Jon,
Could you tell us where to find the latest rev? Will it always be stickied at the top of this forum?
I saw a mention of 14, but 13 is the download shown in another thread.

It is stickied at the top of the forum. The current alpha is 13. The reference to 14 was to say that certain bugs in 13 will hopefully be fixed in 14. 14 will be the next alpha maybe a week away

I am raising this again since I am seeing logs from as far back as alpha 11. I am confirming that logs from any version other than the current and discarded. If a bug is in an earlier alpha and then fixed it is a waste of time to revisit it. If a bug in an earlier version is not fixed then it will appear for sure in the current.

Thanks for your help
