• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS20 Problem setting up controls after Update 11

I will also test what happens with editing bindings today in MSFS.

UPDATE: I am able to change controller assignments without a lock-up; but I not yet had a lock-up in this Options dialog box system.

However... I am still unable to use any throttle axis bound to the throttle on my Logitech joystick since MSFS SU-10.

But that throttle lever physically- and logically via assignment bindings in the FS2Kx menus system ...works properly in FS9 / FSX / P3D.

Asobo has now forced me to use < F1 > and < F3 > keys with inadequately effective control of the user aircraft Power settings.

This is inappropriate on the 40th Anniversary of the FS franchise, and Asobo needs to get this fixed. :stirthepo

Let me put this into terms that an elementary school kid would understand: :teacher:

* 2 Years and 3 Months have passed by since MSFS RTM.

* You have used up 1/4 of your 10-year meal ticket.

* Take care to not lose your meal ticket.

* MS may not replace that ticket at all, nor may they credit you for the 2-1/4 years already redeemed on that ticket.

< On second thought, you may be able to get a (1) time settlement from Microsoft like the rest of us: >

In addition to a "Foot" you-know-where, you may also get this: :duck:

* ACES worked diligently for approximately a middle half of 20 years ...that makes up the 40 years we are now trying to celebrate.

* In January 2010 ACES were given their walking papers.

IF THINGS BREAK, ONE MUST NOT FAIL TO DETECT AND FIX WHAT BROKE ...BY DOUBLE / TRIPLE CHECKING ONE'S WORK ! :pushpin:

Does anyone know if there is locally installed hardware controller configuration file that can be edited or deleted to force a reset, or is this now entirely in the XBox Cloud out of our reach ?

Please say yes, so I don't have to send 'Vinny and Guido' over to Bordeaux. :banghead:
