• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FS2004 Problem with animations plane

Hello to all
state that are not practical editing planes and scenery for FS9
Let me explain my problem:
I'm trying to create aircraft for traffic departing aircraft to complete
Now since the model is too full of polygons I would like to lighten it a bit by removing the interior and the VC hostes etc.etc.
Now this is the problem using ModelconverterX (great program, congratulations to the author) when I export the MDL format for FS9 reproduce looping animations as you can see from the video posted. This happens even when I change anything, just doing an import and export.
Where am I wrong?
Is there any parameter to be set?
I have a wrong version of Make mdl?
or, alternatively, how do I get what I want?

Thank you in advance for your help, and I wish you a good weekend

P.S. Sorry for my English. I'm using google translate :)

Hi,

Sorry, but ModelConverterX does not export FS9 aircraft models with complete animations (everything is a Tick_18 animation, as you experienced above). You will have to wait and see if Arno will eventually fix that. The only other option I know is to Export it as a 3DS model, Import into GMAX, and redo all the animations. Note that you MUST have the permission of the original author to release anything!!!

Hope this helps,
