• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

PROJECT ORSA
REGISTRATIONS OF INTEREST

Experienced members of the aircraft development community are sough to assist in a confidential development of an aircraft for a Virtual Military. This is a fully funded project, and selected team members will be paid (USD$) according to their experience.

Selected team members will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement, as neither the created aircraft or the research notes from producing it will be released to the public.

The project has the aim of designing a specialist aircraft specifically for the Flight Simulator X environment and will not based on any particular real-world aircraft. The project team will be tasked with exploring the limits of FSX and creating aircraft to operate within these limits.

Team members should possess significant Flight Simulator X experience and a theoretical or practical working knowledge of creating aircraft for working at extreme altitude in FSX.

Please send an email registering your interest to project.orsa@gmail.com including the following:
  • A resume of your FS development experience
  • Your areas of expertise

To clarify

There seems to be some confusion for one or two replying. We are offering real-world payment for services, not virtual world.

We would look at paying team members a minimum of USD$100 for their input into the project, highly dependent on their experience.

Train people to kill other people?

And only for a hand full of bucks?

I have better things to do!!!

Did that say Jesus also, when he hanged on the cross?

Well, in fairness he did say "minimum..." :)

That's about what I charge for one hour of work though...

There is no word...

..of paying per hour!

And I can say you: Cool places in hell are very very expensive! :D

OK...Lets go to hell LOL...

...some days ago I thought a little bit about Air War in the future.

I saw that technology will completely replace human pilots.

Without their intelligence they are the weak spot of every fighters plane.

Tom Cruise looks nice in TOP GUN, but his days are counted.

The magic word of the future air war is ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.

Have you seen this film "STEALTH" were are crazy computer fighters burns

through? That goes in this direction.

Without human content in fighter cockpits that aircraft can be produced much

cheaper. Those computer fighters can go everywhere. When you loose one,

you can let produce a new one within days, maintaing a steady output.

So in future in will be more important who can PRODUCE IN MASS

PRODUCTION the most modern computer-only-aircraft.

Currently those ways are tested in the deep utah desert.

Remember on these competition of the pentagon a few years ago, with

automatic way-findung for off-road-cars over a distance of 100 miles?

Many competitors from many contries took part there. There best ones

closed the civil world research and...yes...you got it. There are under

contract of the five-corners.

Yeah, and what is the moral of the story?

Now we are in a in-between state. The planes become more remote-controlled and that over huge distances.

So with the correct satellite cover, you can fly a drone in size of a medium

bomber like FSX around the globe a drop your deadly ordnance right in the

enemies throat. And that surely at high altitude to evade air drag and enemy

air defences.

Until now we need humans to wa´tch over the autopilots job and sometimes

we are intuitive more clever at difficult tactical situations.

But when the articifial beings are fully awakened war gets a thousand times

harder for us humans. And with software failure, and programmers make errors,
they can annihilate as all.

I hope the is a John CONNOR out there for you, folks.

Greetings
