• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Yet another helicopter coming to the FSX skies and yes this is the Nemeth FS2004 model being converted into FSX format. No it's not a decompiled model as I have the gmax source files sent to me by Tamas. Now before anyone ask, it will remain payware as an FSX product along with the FSX converted KA26, but there is the possibility of the FS2004 products becoming freeware (MI2 and KA26). At this stage, it is only entering the workshop to be converted into a true FSX native aircraft with specs and bumps, but there is a big problem, I don't have the original makemdl parts dictionary and neither does the Nemeth brothers....soooo all the switches have to be recoded and that's over 20 switches, knobs, levers just to get this thing lit up and flying. It will be a long time before this and the other 2 MI2 models are completed as I have other projects on the table, some that will bring in money for me, so don't expect a whole lot of updates on this. The KA26 will be converted into FSX format as well. The only other FS2004 Nemeth helicopters that won't make the cut are the MD500D, MD500E, EC120B (freeware), AS350 (freeware), MI17 and MI24 as with the parts dictionaries, the Nemeths don't have the gmax files for those either, so the MI2, KA26 and S76 are the only remaining FS9 models available. Hope you guys like :D

How many projects do you have going on right now? Six? Seven?

Don't lose track in between all these conversions. ;)

Plenty to keep me busy for a while. My main project as of now is a UH1H Huey, but I won't go into further details yet until I'm allowed to share.

I think there was a Volkspolizei or Grenztruppen paint for this one somewhere. If it really goes freeware, I might do a bit more than just the once-a-year heli flight.

Exterior 2 done, 1 more to go. Saving all 3 virtual cockpits for last as I have to finish writing all the XML needed for the switches, knobs, levers, the whole 9 yards :D

Have you had the opportunity to work this conversion a little further since then?
I have just bought the Hoplite in a attempt to mix its VC with Alphasim’s Ka-32 exterior model.
