• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hey there, sorry if I’m posting this in the wrong section but I’m at a loss after 2 months of trying to track down the root of this problem, figured I’d turn to you guys. Long story short, in MSFS 2020…I’ve enabled the Autopilot (in systems cfg) for a few different aircraft (stock adobo mustang, ORBX TBM Avenger, super Stearman, mailbox Corsair etc). My problem is (and it spans all the above aircraft so far) when engaging the autopilot altitude hold, the aircraft will immediately start to pitch the nose down. I’ve also tried using the autopilot on the PMS GTN 750 and entering a specific altitude, same results. I have taken EVERYTHING out of my community folder and just tried one airplane thinking maybe there’s a conflict…same results. Autopilot only works with aircraft that have it built in like inibuilds a350 etc. any basic autopilot, using shift z and ctrl Z for alt hold…airplane just goes into a nose dive..and I know it’s the AP as it’s actuating the trim wheel..just pitches down. Could this be a problem with some sort of main cfg file for the asobo autopilot…maybe something got corrupted? I’m at a loss..I’ve copied the autopilot in systems cfg from a buddy that has it working on his, and paste it in mine, no difference. Please, any help or guidance is appreciated…what in the hell is going on with this thing?

can ANYONE give me any kind of heading here? ive narrowed it down to one airplane in particular that when i engage autopilot..it immediately resets trim and pitches down....is there anything i can check??
