Rebuilding a Stock Airport

I am starting from scratch and rebuilding an airport that comes with FSX.

The Airport is Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.

A problem I am having is that when the airport is compiled and loaded into FSX an number of 'stock' scenery objects appear.

These objects are taxiway signs, ils localizer buildings, control tower, terminal buildings to name a few.

Since I haven't placed any of these in the .xml or .bgl file I have created I assume they are contained withing another scenery file somewhere and FSX is getting instructions to load them despite them not being in the airport I have created.

Can anyone tell me where to find these and how to delete them?

Pleas and thank you.

I'm not sure where they are hiding, but here's what I did.

First I made a huge exclusion rectangle to deal with the taxiway signs. Bigger than the entire airport, so that master taxiway sign didn't evade me. I checked Exclude All Taxiway Signs on that one. Then I made a herd of smaller ones in the appropriate places to get the rest. Those, to be complete, all got checked with Exclude All Library Objects, All Generic Buildigns, and All Extrusion buildings. However since I didn't move the runways, i was careful to not accidentally exclude things I'd need like the ILS localizer or the big rotating beacon. Otherwise I'd just have to replace them myself.

Thanks.

I'll give it a try. So just to confirm - Exclusion Zones do not exclude things I place using FSX Planner?

Thanks Radivil.

Now to work on:

1. Finding out why the properly compiled .bgl file cause FSX to crash when the airport is selected, and

2. Figuring out how to get Whisplacer to work properly with the completed .bgl and/or .xml file
