• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

SAMM2 FS2004 2 Issues can you help please ?

Hi I am a newbie to design etc.
My RAF West Malling Scenery was looking a bit empty so using SAMM2 I started to add some 1950's era Aircraft to the dispersals / pan

and as you can see its working beautifully. BUT I can only Put 1 version of each aircraft on the airfield if I do multiple aircraft it only ever shows 1 in this example below
I have placed a second Gloster javelin to the right dispersal so the should be two but sadly only one is shown

here is a snapshot of the Scenery folder on FS2004 the red pointer is the shown aircraft the two Javelins above are not visible what I am doing wrong please ?

My second question if I may ?
I Purchased EZ-Scenery to try and make this process a bit easier but when I go to insert a object created by SAMM2 it get this warning

a quick check on the net seems to indicate you need to decompile and recompile the BGL !

SAMMs placement function creates standard XML placements. If you understand XML for scenery object placement, the information you need to look at is in the SAMM Libraries and XML folders. Without them, I really can't comment. Please post/e-mail (address in user manual) those folders if you can't sort this out.

No one has ever reported this issue to me and I haven't used EZ-Scenery in a long while. SAMM does not limit the area of use of its models. It may be that the "flyable" aircraft you converted contained the restriction. (And, if it did, that may explain why the static aircraft doesn't appear when placed by SAMM.) Were there any usage restrictions in the EULA pertaining to that aircraft?

If not, you can download Geolock from my website http://stuff4fs.com (under User Applications) and it will remove the restriction. Note that Geolock can only be used if you have the right to use the underlying model.
