Hi All,
I am trying the learn how to develop my own scenery and so I've been following a tutorial most everyone here has recommended.
https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?250762-How-to-create-photoreal-scenery-for-FSX
I get to the second page (Section V - Working with Polygons) where I have to move the ground poly as FSX has it in the wrong spot. So I do exactly as it says, I make the water using Hydro_Default_Perennial. Then I traced the island to create the hole where the island should be. So this takes me to step 32, where I am to compile it to a BGL file. At the point it crashes, no error, but just slams to the desktop.
I am using Win 10 x64 and I've tried to post this to the SBX web forum but the dev seems to gone away; not even accepted my forum join request 2 months ago. I am using the 314 x64 version but now getting frustrated as it has been over a month of trying everything.
1) Is there a fix, ok besides going back to x32 Win 7?
2) Is there another tool, or do I need to learn to do everything via the SDK and scripts?
Thanks,
Jhan
