• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Make sure that you have the latest version of the library and the latest version of SDE TestApp. I have had one similar report that turned out to be an old library. The latest version of TestApp will not work with earlier version of jmFlightSimLib.dll - only the one that comes with it.

Thanks Jon,
Problem is solved after a new install with the latest files.
Lots of succes with the developement of ADE.

Mr. Scruffy,

I am getting the same erro message as Bertvk, but I already have the lateste version of the program and downloaded the update engine from the check update option from the About menu within SDE.

Is there any other way to correct the problem?

Thanks,
Marco Almeida.

Mr. Scruffy, no need to answer, I managed to fix the problem. The SDE was not completly up to date!!!!! Now it is and working fine!!!!

Thanks for the GREAT utility!!!!!

Best regards,
Marco Almeida.

I altered an airport last night, saved it, compiled it. Later I tried to open it again and am getting an error screen and then it closes. The XML compiled ok with the taxiway errors about the name "0" but it compiles and the airport works. This is the error I'm getting when I try to re-open the xml:

Can you post or send me the XML file please? There is a taxipath error and it looks like it can't find the taxipoint or parking place it expects

Thanks

OK well apart from the error on the missing name you have two errors on your Com frequencies and there are some problems with parking spots.

Not sure about the com errors at the moment but the parking and taxipoint spots are fixable.

This won't compile so you should not be getting any Bgl file from it.

OK looks like there is either a problem with the SDK or BglComp. SDK says that Airport Frequencies can be from 108.0. Says the same for Vors. However BglComp throws an error when you use 108.1 and 108.2. Using 128.1 and 128.2 does not give an error.

I don't know enough about Com frequencies to determine whether the error is in the SDK, in Bgl Comp or maybe there is something else entirely

About frequencies

Hi, Jon

OK looks like there is either a problem with the SDK or BglComp. SDK says that Airport Frequencies can be from 108.0. Says the same for Vors. However BglComp throws an error when you use 108.1 and 108.2. Using 128.1 and 128.2 does not give an error.

I don't know enough about Com frequencies to determine whether the error is in the SDK, in Bgl Comp or maybe there is something else entirely

This thread is about frequencies:

G:\FSX\FSX KML\FSX Com frequencies - FsDeveloper Community.mht
