• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Secret Project

Looking for some people that know a little about aircraft wings. This is NOT a project for FS development at this time but will be available once the project has passed the submission stage. This group would be putting a package together, including model sets of different variety, custom made to prevent any infringements, that will be submitted to Boeing, Airbus, and a few other commercial airliner manufacturers. I cant promise a response, nor a pickup of the project being submitted by any of the companies, but if they do, the payoff could be enormous.

The project details:
Unfortunately they must remain somewhat protected until the contracts are agreed to. I can say this much, it will be along the lines where redefining how parts on an aircraft work will be the result.

All members who partake in this will be contractually bound to a project secrecy clause, and a non-infringement clause and be entitled by contract to a percentage of the project purchase, if picked up by a manufacturer.

Concept is proprietary to its primary, me, and a percentage value to each contributing member, based on level of contribution and amount of participation.

If you are an attourney within the US, UK (or European Union) then we could use you on the team. your contribution will be contractually bound as well.
A requirement of the attourney will be to do some research to prevent copywrite and trademark infringement.

more to come

Way to mysterious for me.
In fact, I feel this is really the "poster child" of why this forum section is possibly being re-thought by the admins as posted in another recent thread here.

It reminds me of the South Sea bubble when investments were sought for:

"a company for carrying out an undertaking of great advantage, but nobody to know what it is".

a couple of aircraft model makers are needed. we will not be part naming or anything unless you want to, just accurate models that will incorporate my idea to each model needed. I have a skin model to illustrate, but contract first.

As said, these models can be used for FS after its submission, so its not like its outside the realm of fsdeveloper. They will have to be released as freeware only to the sim world.

I am working on the contracts at this time. Recruitment is current and participation begins in a couple weeks after the contracts are agreed to.

<DevilsAdvocate>So after submission to Boeing, Airbus, and players to be named later with binding contracts involved you really think they would allow you to release any of your work elsewhere (freeware release)? I would think that the only way you would manage that would be if you strike out on the project.</DevilsAdvocate>

Can I suggest that if you are interested in this project or have any suggestions to make to the OP that this is done via email or PM?

The recipient companies would have no say as I would own the patent and trademark. I would own the proprietary designs (I and % of the group would own the creations with the project, up to the extent applicable by law: limit being if you use a Boeing 757 to incorporate this idea, they would own that, but the parts we put on it would belong to us.). The company that wants this will pay for the physical aspect and rights to manufacter and expand upon the design, bu not the virtual aspect or copyright/trademark. It will be listed seperately within the contract so the virtual world would be free roam, not-for-profit, design with the models so long as it is not a design or copy of a protected design already on the marker, such as the B737.

I agree, PM me if interested. I am currently trying to produce a layout to explain a little more of what this will do, but its hard to do without giving away what it is.

I have seen one similar design before, but I have been toying with this idea and similar for years and this design is not the same as the one I have seen. I now have the knowledge and skill to create it virtually, just need help making the models.
