• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSXA Sikorsky S76

I am releasing it with 1024 pixel textures, but there will be a paintkit released so that others can do a HD version if they desire

Hi guys,

The S76 has entered it's third beta with all major items fixed and operational, although the radios in the virtual cockpit are giving me a hassle, but they'll be fixed before release. Give or take, about a week or 2 before release of "Phase 1" of this project. And HTR can be used in this helicopter, although I am not running that program on this bird :)

Sikorsky S76 almost done with one last beta test (hopefully) being sent to the testers soon. The package at a glimpse will feature 2 models (EMS and VIP), 10 liveries, custom Allison 250-C30S engine sounds, custom effects and a live in game payload and fuel editor which allows to add/remove fuel/passengers in real time. More info to follow.

Having some minor issues with a couple of switches that is part of the HSI. I may leave them out and revisit them for phase 2 of the project. Everything else is working well, some minor things to fix before the next and hopefully last beta.

Hey George,

do you have any news on the S76? Saw that you are doing a Bell 47 now. I don't want to hesitate you,but we are also waiting for a FSX/P3D Bell 429 that you adopted :)

Happy New Year and Best Regards

LM has introduced changes to P3D which requires me to update the models to comply with the changes. My dedicated test team uses P3D to test the S76, hence why things are taking long before release, thanks to LM for breaking and changing P3D which in turn changes the way models are rendered. Good news is that all these issues have been fixed and we are hoping that we can have a release soon, bearing that nothing major pops up.

All major bugs have been fixed and verified by my testers with only a couple of items left to be fixed. Yes it has taken so long to finish this project, but I was left with no XML parts dictionary from the original source and Lockheed Martin completely changed the way models are displayed within P3D, either FSX native or P3D native models. Everything is looking good at this point, so I am looking at a 1-2 month release, maybe sooner if no additional bugs are found. More to follow....

Sikorsky S76 on short final. All major bugs have been fixed, some items that were present in the FS2004 release has been fixed, annunciator panel code has been rewritten, just some minor cosmetic items and another test to follow. Stay tuned....
