Hi

Building a airport and have now done 40 hangars without problems. Now I just need to finish two oval/semi round hangars. It's quite easy to make the model in Blender but getting the texture to fit is a big problem for me !!!

Have tried UVunwrap / Smart UV Project

Any help would be great !

Thanks
Claus

Hey Claus,

You seem to be using n-gons in your models (geometry with more than 4 vertices) which, in general, is not great for uv unwrapping. So the first thing I would recommend is adding geometry so it looks like this:

Secondly, you should apply the scale to the model because currently it is non uniform:

You can do this by pressing control+A in object mode and selecting scale:

After that you should be able to uv unwrap the model like you want!

I have included your model but now with the corrected geometry using this method. Hope this helps and good luck with your project!
