Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Enjoy, Bill! My two sons and I are having a Boys' Night Out during the Christmas holidays to see it too! I still remember vividly the visual impact of that star destroyer opening the first film in a theatre with a big screen.:cool:

Please Please, No Spoilers. I have been switching the channel on the TV when ever I see the trailers start. Kept away from the interwebs. I know nothing about the new movie and was able to watch Last Jedi without seeing any trailers. I don't want to have to stop looking a fsdeveloper forums. ;)

Me too, I go with my two sons: Thomas and Timothée, Wednesday evening in preview ... Great evening in perspective !

Ron and Dragonflight, that’s the beginning of the first Star Wars film, from waaaaaayyyyy back in the Seventies. Forty years ago, give or take. If you two haven’t seen that yet... :yikes:

Haven't even seen the previous one. I just fail to warm up to the new trilogy in general after having seen "The Force Awakens".

If you've ever seen the 1978 trailer for A New Hope, it's seriously cringeworthy. How to give away the entire film in just two minutes.

You won't be reading any spoilers from me, that's a given...

...that is given that I won't remember much of anything by the time I get home and near a computer again! :rotfl:

There's still some people who haven't been burned enough by G.Lucas and Disney, eh? :duck:

My Christmas present to myself this year! I just reserved my seat for the above movie a day early, this coming Thursday, Dec 19th.
Not sure where you live, but I am also going to a 10:45 show on Thursday evening! Got my tix in October LOL, best seats!

and, I'll be wearing my Star Trek uniform :rotfl:

I am glad that I never saw that preview before the movie came to my local theater in Ft. Myers, Florida. When I went, I drifted off to the restroom until the next viewing, and then watched it again, and again, and again, and yet one more time.

That's five viewings in a single day for the price of one ticket...

Misho, I live in Hammond, Indiana (just across the border from Chicago). I was a bit late in making a reservation but I did find one seat open around where I like to sit, which is about half-way from the front row near the center. I like the screen to extend just to the edges of my peripheral vision, and so I don't have to cock my head at some weird angle and leave with a neck ache... :)
