FS2004 Static object as AI - missing textures

I converted sucessfully a ship out of FS9 Static Objects Library to an AI ship. It works fine, besides that it's shows no textures. The textures files have been copied to the texture folder of the AI, but no result. Did I something wrong or is it at last impossible to get textures?

Thanks for your help.

Bernard

No, no should be a problem how you convert the object?, if they are in his folder and with correct format then it should work

The bgl model has been converted with MCX and Makemdl.exe. As I said, the
model works fine. The two texture files are in BMP format with size 256 x 256.

Hi Bernard :D, Always is good to check with Mcx the mdl or bgl, look for the object and load again, if work there should work in fsx. you can see if there is some problem

Hi Bernardo,

Has the the bit depth of the texture an influence? I noticed that simple AI textures have mostly a bit depth of 8. The texture I should use for the AI ship has bit depth of 32. Might this be the reason that the texture is not shown?
