• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSXA SU-34

Nice! Basic instruments can still be read, but more specific jet instruments will be difficult to understand. But I like Cyrillic, I'm trying to learn some Russian. Major step is to get used to the alphabet:D

It isn't hard. OK, I personally have the advantage of knowing the Serbian Cyrillic alphabet, but once you know how to pronounce the special cases, it's easy going after :)

Some history in case you don't know. Cyrillic is of Bulgarian origin. And is third officially recognized from Pope language after Greek and Latin to warship God. It is a lot easier for me to do all instrument on my alphabet, but I really want to have users of my aircraft. So there isn't any option left, but to do most instruments in English even this is not ARAIG;)

Keep it up! What's exactly the problem?
There is no problem. I am modeling and have idea how to do it, even the texturing. Regarding programming.....have no idea at all......and that could be The problem. Will think for that wen time is right, still too early to worry

Do the gauges in XML. You can't too all too fancy stuff with it, but it's relatively easy to learn.

If you already know C++, however, you might want to go with that.

Maybe I am from old school, but still think that a man has to do in what is best(or try to be). If you're good in modeling, just model. If you're good in programming, just program. If you try all fields, result will be a compromising one, depending on what you're better in.
What I will do is: When I am ready with model HP/LP/texture/Animations, then I will ask the community if someone want to join.If there isn't anyone, then will freeze the project until some come up. But for that I have to finish the model, till then...just modeling.

And if no one wants to finish your model, but you want to fly it someday...?

I absolutely hate doing textures and repaints, but before I wait forever for someone to do them for me, I do them myself. There's just no way that a stupid splash of paint is going to stop my project dead cold...

But, if model is good enough and finished....there could be someone there to want to fly it too and to use his skills on same project as a programmer .

I think it's better not to think to far ahead in this matter. You know: when I started development on the D.21 about one year ago, I could never imagine being where I'm now. I did the entire model myself, almost all textures and 3d gauges. Keep this in mind. Nothing is impossible;)

And now on to progress;)
