• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Whelp, if your gizmos are all skewed and your scenery objects have become invisible, you'll be happy to know you are exactly current with the latest breaking developments from Asobo. This video describes the breakdown in detail.


I'm going to stop developing until the next update/spin of the wheel because it has become impossible to distinguish my mistakes from Asobos.


One small plus about the whole situation is that this is the first time the startup sequence sound played at more or less the correct part of the flight.
 
What local dialect is the guy in the first video speaking? Is that even supposed to be English? LOL!
As a non native English speaker I don't understand a single word, so it'll remain in the dark for me how it all went wrong, LOL.
 
I dont think its really among the weird UK dialects ^^ No issue on my side and im German too ^^ There are so very much harder to understand dialects, especially Scottish or Irish etc. That guy is pretty "famous" for his voice etc, was the main content-creator for Elite Dangerous for a long time.

Anyway, i find it ironic that this was the very first time since over 1 year, where my download speeds where NOT slow. In every update i can remember it went to like 2.5MB/sec. But this time (on the day of update) it went up to 60MB/sec. So weird sometimes.
 
Thank you for making this post! I was getting all my scenery objects as "uknown" and i couldn't figure what was wrong! Even tried the SDK Samples and even then the objects from these samples were also marked as "unknown". This is a relief for me, and makes me so disappointed for ASOBO. Never saw a smooth update from them, well, there probably was at least one, but 90% of their updates always end up introducing bugs and many other issues... Sometimes it feels like it would be better if they fixed everything in this update and then NEVER TOUCH THE SIM AGAIN lol
