• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I have successfully placed mowers and snowplows at two different airports. NOW I want to place U.S. Flags at more than one airport. I was able to place the U.S. Flag, the South Carolina Flag I created and the Horre County Flag that I created successfully at Myrtle Beach. Since then I have not been able to get another animated SODE flag that Butcherbird Mike helped most of create. The xml code has all been validated and I even tried to use SODE Placer which seems to successfully have created it but no luck. What can I show to you to help me with what's going on.

Thanks to the Good Lord this afternoon, I was inspired to see if ANY of the previous xml code I had written was working like Myrtle Beach with mowers, snow plows and flags. It was not! This had to be a corrupted SODE V1.7.1 which I am blaming on my last update of FSDS GSX which uses SODE but its OWN within the program. I removed SODE V1.7.1 when it would not repair in the Control Panel, downloaded a new version and installed it and all is right with one exception that I will wait for Butcherbird to get back to me on. Denton, TX STILL does not appear. Nashua's flag does with its mowers and plows. Myrtle is back as well. I don't know why Denton doesn't when the MDL works in MDCx; the xml code is valid when I checked it online and the Object Placer accepts all of it and saves. That is a puzzler. Bb has been helping me since the beginning so I will just be patient.
