• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSXA Suvarnabhumi Airport (VTBS armi_tic_FSX)

Truly amazing, I have just purchased the FS9 version and its stunning, well done.

Now if only somebody made a Dubai and Kula Lumpur Airport like that standard it would be great...................not that I am dropping any hints :)

I run a i7 CPU the k875 at 3.67 Ghz and a GTX480 on normal with xram 4gig at
2000 Ghx and one ssd drive 250 gig,and two tweaks in may FSX cfg.

1. [BUFFERPOOLS]
RejectThreshold=126976

This works for me,it send texture load to the video card and give the cpu time to do what it needs to do.

2.[Main]
DisablePreload=1

This disable the preloading if you change date and time in FSX,and with this in the sim loading is very fast.

With this may sim gets 60 to 70 frams in normal flight and at your airport and ORBX stuff with Active Sky and REX on final 15 to 20 frams,that fine!

Cheers Frits

VTBS is marvelous and unfortunately, there is not much FSX airports in ASIA.

I am strongly urging developing teams there to design mid-size airports This will enlarge and open flying possibilities in Asia.

Example : Who will develop Phukets ? Pakse ? Samui ? etc.etc etc

Samui Airport (VTSM) is under construction by myself. I haven't post any picture since it is not done yet.
Here are some screen shots.

I haven't correct the short line yet.

Lovely work! I remember being in Samui years ago. Great little airport. That garden on the ramp is new though. Never saw that.
