Hello all,
while struggling with assigning landclasses in ADE9X, which then in FSX look like what I assigned (see other thread), I came across the advice to check with TMFViewer (from the FSX SDK) which landclasses FSX actually sees in my scenery.
But somehow (and the SDK "documentation" being what it is...), I seem not to use the tool correctly:
I can load e.g. the default worldlc.bgl, and do then see the respective LC names displayed in the status bar.
But they are not in any way marked in the map part (it is all blank unless I load some terrain BGL); and right-click > "Highlight current value" has no visible effect.
And if I load the terrain BGL (*_CVX.bgl) from my scenery, it is accepted, and I can see the terrain polygons, but the status bar does not give any LC information, and the "Highlight etc." option is unavailable (greyed out).
Surely (from what I read here) the tool cannot deal with LCs only in the default scenery?
So, what am I overlooking? (I'm sure it's embarrassingly simple...
)
Thanks for all tips!
Cheers,
Martin
