As the title states, I am trying to make a hypersonic 7 pax business jet for my own enjoyment.
I am running into a few things though.
Most annoyingly the thing wont go above Mach 4.2 (ish).
The cruising altitude I want is somewhere between 70,000 and 100,000 ft.
I've tried to up the engine's performance in the aircraft.cfg to ridiculous numbers but it wont go past that "barrier"
Another annoying issue the over speed warning always goes off, I changed the max indicated airspeed to 4000, 20000, and more but as soon as I hit 340 kts, it goes off.
I've removed the sound from the panel but still. (default 747 panel from FSX)
I am very inexperienced in regards to .cfg files and .air files so a few tips would be welcome
I am currently using a modified TU-144 cfg from another add-on, as this is for personal use.
This is by no means a serious project but figuring all of this out is a great learning experience for me.
Also the plane will have 4 engines, as in my design it will have 2 afterburning turbofans (as seen in the picture) and 2 (simulated) scramjets.
Another design I am working on has to go Mach 10, but I am starting to wonder if there is a hard limit in P3D in regards to this kind of stuff?
Thanks in advance
