P3D v5 Trying to solve Comms issues around OrbX KPSP

Hi all,

When flying around Palm Springs using Orbx KPSP, using VoxATC for ATC and AI, I get dual comms between "Palm Springs Departure" on 126.70, as well as SOCAL center on the same frequency, and they conflict with VoxATC and the AI.

According to charts, I don't think there is a "Palm Springs Departure" and another user mentioned this as well on AVSIM forums. When looking at the Orbx airport in ADE, comms lists both Palm Springs departure and arrival on 126.7, but is has Los Angeles Center on a different frequency, no mention of SOCAL center. Am I right in assuming that SOCAL center is coming from another bgl in the sim, and I should be able to remove the erroneous Palm Springs Departure and Arrival from the airport? I've never really messed with comms before and I'm not sure what's required for ATC to work properly.

Thanks for any help!

Best,
sg

Also, totally recognize this may be outside of the scope of an "ADE" question, but I suspect this community knows how to address the issue better than others! TIA!

126.7 is a Socal frequency, not a Palm Springs freq. Just try deleting it from the KPSP Ad4 file, and see what happens. It's very easy to add it back if that removes the freq altogether.

Hi Tim,
Thanks for the link.
So I gave this a shot, deleted both 126.7 frequencies from KPSP, and it appears to be working. I've only done one flight since, so fingers crossed. I think I'm getting handed off directly to Los Angeles center at the other frequency, not SOCAL Departure, but that's better than the dueling dual comms!

Many thanks,
sg
