• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSX Update question

I know this is *NOT* a problem with ADE; but it confuses me. When I compile a airport using ADE version 01.65.5546, I go to the FSX addon scenery\my file name\scenery. But the ADEX_My_File_Name_ADE.bgl shows in the scenery file the date of 3/10/2015 at 10:15:am as a example instead of the last update on 3/11/15 at 7:00 PM. This has been going on for about 2-3 weeks. Any idea how to correct this on my computer so the update shows correctly?? Thank You.

Check the time zone setting on the computer also

Choose the Refresh choice in the menus? This does also happen to me with some programs; I don't know why.

Thanks so much guy's. Makes me feel better knowing this does not only happens to me. I was comparing the computer times.
In the properties bgl, it shows correctly. Strange.

Are you looking at the Date, or Date Modified field? The former is the date the file was created and won't change unless the file is deleted prior to being overwritten (which it technically isn't if it's deleted first). The latter is the date of the last modification.

OK Sir; under the Scenery Properties I see Date Created: March 10, 2015 at 10:30:20 AM.
I thought the date and time change would be reflective here also. Now, when I highlight the file and put the pointer over it, it says 3-12-15 at 1:29 PM.
Mr. tqibson - What Refresh Button are you speaking of? Thank You both for the help.

For System 7 it's the View/Refresh menu item in Windows Explorer.

But I agree - make sure you are looking at the DATE MODIFIED column (when in Details View). That's the one that changes.
