• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

VC Modeller Needed

I am in need of a VC modeller. This is to assist me doing mainly UK MIL aircraft, on a FREEWARE basis. Obviously, as they are freeware, they do not need to be payware quality VC's. I am currently stuck doing the externals and just do not have the time for the VCs

Anyone interested in joning my team as a modeller, please just messge me:)

I'm interested in a very speciphic project you have going on.
I've started working on my own VC the last couple of days.
I don't know how quickly I'll phinish it though, the PA A330 VC is taking up most of my time.

If you'd like me to, I could send you all the common parts (phrame, main panel, seats, instruments e.t.c.) as long as you make the british avionics and attach the exterior parts to the model.

Hi Ukmil.., I think I have something for you here in this link :D 5-10 minutes per Gauge model.. LoL. Cost of one Gauge $50 as per Turbosquid. LoL, Im just Kidding you..
I wonder, do you have some more pictures of cockpit, or better than Alexis pic quality may be ? :scratchch
By the way, why people are associating word "freeware" with bad quality....?

Hi,

the only pics I have are my external models I am building, and need VC's for

So far, the ones that need VC's are

my Jaguar

My Hawk T2

all of these need VC's. I can build externals very quickly, but hate doing VC's

These are all FREEWARE

No, this is how far it has progressed as of today.

For the time being, I can only provide for the Phantom. I don't know if I'll also do the british avionics, but I can send you the entire VC model so you can replace what isn't supposed to be there.

Once I'm done with the Phantom and 330, I'll do the C-130.

I'm talking about freeware too.

Models are not so bad, but I cannot get your "hate" to make a VC. Once you know how to deal with 3D creation, then shouldn't be any problem with VC.
You have created so many Aircraft and no one of the VC's..
Im starting to guess that there is not a problem with creation but the problem is to get the gauges work, XMLs and the placement of them etc.
Because you cannot tell simply "hate", believe me that there is no difference on what do you create in 3D except characters (they are difficult for most of people ).
Ok Im working on the project as well as you and made an exterior first. Just for the interest sake I tried to make "("FreeWare")" quick Cockpit for you and it took me 10 minutes.
Then the questions comes to my mind like... Will this fit ? does it look at least the same as in real world or near that ? Ow..Nevertheless freeware, people still like a bit of a feeling of the realism..
Ok, if this was answered "yes", I came to the next point - Actual gauge.. and then I told my self " Not sure" or I hate it.

Again, to my opinion 3D is not a problem, What we need is cockpit part of Exterior model to get it "fit at least" sizes and stuff..., Reference Images as many as it is possible from different angles of shot.

Everything else after 3D "I hate it".

I have created many more aircraft, and have done the VC's. You just need to visit my site, or one of the main FS download sites, and download some of my other models such as

Harrier Gr7
Tornado GR/F3
and many more

These all have completed vc's that I built. I know how to do them, and the XML coding for the guages. so it is not that i cannot build them, but I get more enjoyment creating the external models. Building VC's just seems like a 'boring' part of the model.

So the request here, was to ask if someone who maybe 'enjoyed' the VC part of modelling, to work along side me to complete my creations.

just to show, here are some VC's I had started for these

So as explained, I CAN do them, I just want some one to join me, to do them instead, so I can do EXTERNAL models

I know, I wanted to PM you about that though(registration problem).

VC modeling is boring? :(

I'm interested in helping out with the C-130, but IDK if I'll be able to handle your deadline (if set). Would you like to PM me?
