• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

The Lockheed-Martin crew have announced P3D v2 will be released in November 2013. No news on pricing as of yet.

From their website, this can be a little misleading as it walks another path from the licenses terms and conditions.
Are You Prepar3D®?
Training meets reality with Lockheed Martin’s Prepar3D® simulation software. Private pilots, commercial organizations, militaries and academia rely on
Prepar3D for immersive, experiential learning.

Prepar3D (pronounced “prepared”) is a visual simulation platform that allows users to create training scenarios across aviation, maritime and ground domains.
Users can train anywhere in the virtual world, from underwater to sub orbital space.

Prepar3D furthers the development of Microsoft® ESP™ while maintaining compatibility with Microsoft Flight Simulator X, allowing many thousands of
add-ons to be used within Prepar3D.

Go to the Learn section to see videos and screenshots of Prepar3D in action!

It insinuates entertainment value as well, but without saying it.

I don't see any insinuation refering for entertainment use..
I've read there will be three diferent licenses. Academic, profesional and military licenses.

Check this by the hand of Kosta.

Hi Micky.

Yes, you are right.

I'm locking this thread to avoid yet another "entertainment" argument.

FSDeveloper is completely opposed to discussions of the P3D Eulas or terms of use. If in doubt, ask Lockheed-Martin about "entertainment"... and please, everyone, don't troll for responses regarding their corporate legal issues in this forum.

Thanks for your proper response, Micky.
