• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Website stability

What you call blockchain encryption my parents called inflation. They hadn't yet invented a term for this:

I have that issue as well, Arno. When I can't connect, then FSDeveloper is gone no matter what browser....

From mobile hence short

Since yesterday for me the stability seems much better. But please let me know if you don't experience it like this.

Earlier today I was on the website and everything was working great. Then at 10:48 EST (GMT-5) I could no longer get to any page that I clicked on even to log off. Working ok now.

I don't think the location really matters. The server is in the Netherlands and I am in the Netherlands, but I also have the timeouts or other troubles now and then
Think again Arno, think again (since assumption it the mother of all f****** and does not contribute to finding the true and underlying cause of this issues)
I live - just like you - in the Netherlands and I also experience - from times to time - the problems mentioned above.

Please bare in mind that not everyone has DIRECT and UNLIMITED ACCESS any INTERNET-HOST/SERVER these days over the Internet anymore:.
want proof: Login into Twitter and start following these relevant hashtags:
#FixCopyRights - https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&vertical=default&q=#fixcopyright&src=typd
#CensorshipMachines - https://twitter.com/hashtag/censorshipmachines?f=tweets&vertical=default&src=hash
#UploadFilter - https://twitter.com/hashtag/uploadfilters?f=tweets&vertical=default&src=hash

The reason for all this... a few troubled minds inside the EU - are using their (hidden business-friends) "copyright argument"- to lock-down the once free Internet.
- https://ec.europa.eu/digital-single...ards-enhanced-responsibility-online-platforms

and/or use the "FakeNews" argument to systematically shut down websites based on their own "Orwellian definition" of news:

EDIT: last minute addition:
Google (Chrome-browser) and Mozilla (Firefox-browser) are also joining this war on "annoying ads" and "fake-news".
Both organizations have been very busy, crippling their "internet-browsers" to (secretly) start blocking "the wrong kind of ads" (and later in life the "wrong kind of content")
The Mozilla trust initiative:

The Google "Fact check - Service"

Google Chrome will block ads for you (and ask yourself.. what are they already blocking without your consent???)

Make no mistake and do not allow yourself to be fooled by all official "political" statements. This is a covert full blown information-war / internet-content-censorship operation in progress.
So, next time when some-one, some-where on this planet is experiencing a computer-to-fsdeveloper server hickup, it might be due to the fact that just another portion of the once free internet
is secretly being choked down, from right under our fingertips.

TIP: Dump Google Chrome / Mozilla Firefox from your devices and install a true internet browser which still is fully transparent and customizable to your own privacy needs:

Just wanted to come back in here after a week of thoroughly positive connections and say that things appear to be much, much better. It seems to be human nature to complain loudly when things don't work and remain a part of the silent majority when things work fine. So I, for one, wish to say thank you. Site is running very well for me after a bit of a hard go.

The only issue I have with the new format so far is the tiny gray lettering for the number of views and the user that posted the last post in the main thread listings. They are so small and light I can't read them.

Last time I tried to enter the website, I am certain that the "handshake" caused troubles again; this time, I saved the error message:

Error_message.jpg

I hope this might be helpful.
Sergio.

I saw the same error message as Sergio.

A few hours later I saw a message like the website might be too busy or unavailable.

At 04:00 GMT I was prevented from accessing the website. The connection was rejected for as long as I attempted. In my opinion, the problem exists, or it is fixed.
"Sohosted is a hosting company that guarantees carefree internet." https://www.host-reviews.nl/webhosting-reviews-sohosted/

"Carefree" would be if my browser had conducted the whois, searched reviews of Sohosted and posted this message automatically as a consequence of not being able to use the website while the rest of the WWW was open for business.
