Well, accomplished this last night with the midnight oil burning, was up until at least 1 AM working on this. Hope you all like it -- not revealing the aircraft just yet, ;) but willing to share these updates with you as they come down the pipe line. I've started the interior now while I can still see in it before sealing it off with the nose of the aircraft.

I like it for my first real model in Gmax -- hope you all share the same thought.....

Anyway, thanks for looking at my work and comments are always welcome! :)

Nope, not a chopper Heretic -- I will say it's for General Aviation purpose though -- can fly in bush conditions and also in regular conditions.

It's also a twin prop too -- But the way the fuselage goes I do see that, it's a unique bird, that's for sure....:)

John

Twin prop...STOL...big, round windows. Almost an Islander, but naw, the wheels and windows say it ain't one.

Hmmm...this is gonna be tough.

Aero-Commander Shrike? Naw, gear's too short & too far back. So you're doing this in Gmax? How are you doing the renders? Looks good, BTW :) .

Jim

Bjoern, you're getting warmer --- definite STOL capabillity, but none of the brands you mentioned....:)

Thanks Jim! I'm using Gmax Render Suite -- it's freeware, forgot where I found it, but I'll have to look to post a link here for you folks. Works wonders, and does a fantastic job with rendering in Gmax. I love that software! :D :)

N2056, hmmmmmm --- on to something there...;). Let's just say you got the manufacturer down. :)

This will be one of the MOST detailed Angels EVER out there, with my pickyness to detail, and accuracy, if you're gonna do it, do it right I say.

Like I said, first model, can't complain on this one for my first work. Took several tries to get some things right, I'm really glad I re-started the landing gear when I look at my old first draft. That one was AWFUL....:o.

This is going to be a very nice aircraft to fly, i'm sure! Can't wait to see the progress on this bird :)

Thanks Thomas! Glad you like it so far....posting more detailed completed landing gear renders later today....:)

John

Thanks Heretic ;). Now you all can compare my work to this. Hope it's on track? :)

They're even consulting with me for this aircraft so it's accurate. Should be a winner when it's done...(I hope) :)

John

Can't say much yet, but I guess you're in the right lane so far. :D

Thanks Bjoem -- glad you like it.....

With the help of Willem, I now know how to fix the somewhat pointy nose that was on this, just didn't like it before. Wasn't right with the fighter style nose at all as you can tell with the pictures.

Will post another update tomorrow probably....:)

Oh thats pretty sweet :D

Never seen one of those before...I can't wait to get my hands...err...joystick... on this one :)
