Hey guys,
after a long time away from P3D I decided ( again ) to buy a 1 month license and check how things are going in that dept...
Well, installed, it did run smooth on my good-old i5 2500, but heck, when I started loading the various prop aircraft, single and multi-engine variants, I was surprised to find ABSOLUTELY NO prop effects noticeable on takeoff of inflight.
The Rockwell 114, an aircraft I was able to fly IRL as a passenger in the early 80s, can takeoof full power without even touching the rudder, same applying to pretty much all other prop aircraft in the default hangar ?????
I made sure that:
.) Flight dynamics sliders under "Realism" were all full right;
.) autorudder wasn't set
.) autopilot and / or yaw damper weren't set ( in aircraft so equipped )....
What the heck went wrong with the props flight dynamics in v4.4 ? and probaly before that, but last time I used P3D was in 4.1 …
Did they simply erase the prop effects from the FDM ?
Do the payware add-ons have it - say, A2A for instance ?...
Thx for any feedback. It was a big disappointment ... Never felt so so much "on-rails" as Larry used to put it ( so well... )
